BARATZA Single Dose Hopper (Sette) Black

The Single Dose hopper for the baratza Sette replaces the standard bean hopper to allow for single dosing. The extra catchment trays limit “popcorning”, which occurs when small amounts are coffee are passing through the grinder without downward pressure from the beans sat in the hopper. This causes beans to bounce around the burr feeder rather than being evenly fed, which can create a slightly less consistent grind.

Benefits of a single dosing:

• Beans don’t sit in the hopper growing stale
• Using a scale you can precision dose to illuminate any waste by over-grinding.
• Reduces the counter height by about 5cm.
