Whilst it isnt made of metal, obviously, it hasnt given me any problems and i have this loaded with a lot of my lose tools. And due to the plastic body, it isnt heavy at all.
It has a rules inscribed on the side, but doubt ill every use it and no idea how accurate it is, but its there if you need it and have nothing else near by.

After delivery I opened it up to find two small holes in the bottom, didn't bother me but now the handle to close it is giving me trouble aswell as the lid goes skew. guess for the price you pay you can't complain
