RCM Water-Based Plaster Primer is expertly formulated to deliver excellent adhesion, breathability and a durable base coat for a wide range of topcoats. Ideal for use on properly prepared cement bricks, fibre cement, and plaster surfaces. This low-VOC primer helps extend the life and finish of your topcoat while ensuring a consistent, professional result.

Surface Preparation:
- Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free of dust, grease and oil.
- For fibre cement/cement bricks/plaster(excluding Rhinolite) – degrease, wire brush efflorescence and lime wash, then rinse and dry.
- For previously painted glossy surfaces, clean with sugar soap, fill defects, and sand to a matte finish.
Application Guidelines:
- Stir thoroughly for ±5 minutes before application.
- Use a good quality brush or roller. For spray use, thin 5 parts primer to 1 part water.
- Avoid overspreading and ensure even coverage.
- Wait at least 1 hour before overcoating (longer in cooler climates).
- Final overcoating should occur within 4–6 weeks.
Clean Up:
- Clean all tools with warm, soapy water.
Storage and Safety:
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated place.
- Keep sealed and upright during transport.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use in well-ventilated areas and avoid contact with eyes and skin.
- Dispose of contents in accordance with local regulations.
