I bought a mesh sheet to attach to bamboo poles, and this twine just did the job, strong and easy to use, threaded through the eyes on the mesh sheet and tied into grooves on the bamboo poles.

It is a bit thicker (about 6mm) and more stiff than anticipated (not like ski rope), but it is strong and I could use it
