Easy Heating Element Replacement

One of the standout features is FAME's exclusive plug-in heating-element system, designed to make element replacement faster and easier. The dedicated instructions show the element being removed and refitted using guide pins and the correct grounding-wire position.

⚠️ Safety & Warnings

• Professional installation required: Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician/electrician
• Electrical safety: The shower must be connected to a dedicated, independent electrical circuit with the correct cable size and circuit breaker for the specific voltage/wattage model.
• Proper grounding is essential: Always connect the green/yellow grounding conductor to a suitable grounding system. Never use the neutral wire as a ground.
• No plugs or extension leads: Do not connect the shower using a household plug, socket or extension cord.
• Switch off power before servicing: Always disconnect the electrical supply at the appropriate circuit breaker before installation, cleaning, maintenance or replacing the heating element.
• Fill with water before switching on: Allow water to flow through the shower and fill the heating chamber before connecting/switching on the electrical supply. This helps prevent damage to the heating element.
• Check voltage: Ensure the electrical supply voltage matches the exact voltage specified for the shower model. Incorrect voltage can damage the appliance and affect the warranty
• Water pressure: The Super Ducha operates within approximately 13–400 kPa, with a minimum activation pressure of 8 kPa
• Do not modify the appliance: Use only compatible FAME components and replacement heating elements.
• Water and electricity: Never carry out electrical work while the water supply or electrical circuit is live.
• Hot water warning: Water from the shower can become very hot. Take care when adjusting the temperature and supervise children, elderly users and anyone requiring assistance.
• Cleaning: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
• RCD/DR protection: The current FAME 220V Super Ducha+ specification states that the unit is compatible with an RCD/DR, providing additional protection when correctly installed.
• IP24 protection: The shower is rated IP24, but this does not replace the requirement for correct electrical installation and grounding.
