Spacer Compatibility & Adjustment

The Work Buddy™ system includes adjustable spacer sets designed to ensure a secure fit across different bakkie loading bay widths.

The spacers can be extended or contracted during installation by sliding and positioning them along the sides of the unit. This allows the system to adapt to your vehicle’s internal width.

Once adjusted, the spacers are locked firmly in place using the mounting feet and locking nuts, creating a tight, stable fit against the sides of the loading bay.

WORK BUDDY GUIDELINE TO INSTALLATION

Step 1
Work Buddy™ is supplied as two separate units. Place them side by side at the front of your bakkie’s loading bay. Select and attach the correct spacers (Small or Large) based on your vehicle type.

Step 2
Position the unit as desired. You may choose to leave space in front of the drawers for additional storage. Adjust the side panels outward until they make contact with the sides of the loading bay. Ensure even spacing on both sides.

Step 3
Adjust all foot pieces outward until the unit is firmly secured at all contact points.

Step 4
Using spanners, tighten the locking nuts on the foot pieces against the sides of the unit.

Step 5
Secure each fixing point by tightening both locking nuts firmly using two spanners.

Step 6
You’re ready to go enjoy your organised and secure Work Buddy™ setup!
